Your Vacation Bible School, youth group, Sunday School class, or church group can make a difference in the lives hurting boys and girls by making Baptist Children's Homes of NC their mission ministry.

THE MISSION

To show God's love by praying, giving and connecting with boys and girls living at Baptist Children's Homes across North Carolina.

WHY?

Boys and girls across our NC mission field and the globe are hurting. They are often from broken situations that have brought them heartache and pain. When they come to BCH, many children have next to nothing, not even a clean set of clothes or shoes that fit. Many are also unchurched and don’t know just how much God loves them.

BCH also provides a caring home to impoverished orphans in Xela, Guatemala called the Good Shepherd Children's Home. Many of the orphans are babies who have been abandoned by their families.

HOW YOUR VBS CAN HELP...

PRAY, GIVE, CONNECT: these are the essential ways your VBS kids can make a difference in the lives of Baptist Children's Homes' boys and girls. Read below to find out specific ways to help and use the downloadable resources in your VBS.

PRAY

Please take time during your VBS to pray for the children.

Pray that God will heal children's hurts. Some may have been abused and neglected.
Pray for the cottage parents who provide a safe, caring home for the children and teach them about God's love.
Pray for our foster families who are opening their homes and hearts to children in the NC foster care system.
Pray the children will ask Jesus to be their Savior.

GIVE

Collect a VBS missions offering. Your offering will help to...

Provide meals and snacks. Some children have gone without eating every day.
Buy new clothes. Many children come to BCH with clothes that don't fit or are old and tattered.
Ensure expectant mothers know they have a choice. Through our adoption ministry, we place the mother's newborn baby in a caring, Christian home
Reach international children in need. Your offering provides homes and care to orphans at our Guatemala ministry.
